Ghost Towns, Mines, and More!

The Black Prince Mine was active sometime in the early 1900s. In 1981 the claim was acquired by a company that did extensive drilling. Hundreds of core samples were stacked in the former hoist house. No other activity has occurred since then. Currently the hoist house has partially collapsed, and the core samples are scattered in piles among the ruins.

Below: The ruins of a small stamp mill are located a short distance north of the Black Prince Mine.
