Ghost Towns, Mines, and More!
Gold was discovered here in 1905. After 1911, the ore was haul four miles to a mill at Seventeen Mile Point. Activity continued off and on here until about 1935. A family lived in the cabins at the mine until the 1970s. Recently the cabins were cleaned up and restored.
