This is one of several lead mines in the Nopah Range east of Tecopa.

Other mines in the area include the Noonday Mines, the War Eagle Mine, and the Gunsight Mine. These were all served by the Tecopa Railroad.

My first visit to this site was in 1999. I recently returned and was disappointed to find that all of the tanks, the hoist, and other old equipment have been removed.
