Cris was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer in September 2011. She started chemo January 24, 2012. Since she will be losing her hair, she decided to donate it to Locks Of Love. This organization takes donated hair and uses it to make wigs for kids who have hair loss from chemo or other medical issues.
The last time Cris had short hair was when she was a toddler, so getting her hair cut was a momentous occasion!
