Ghost Towns and Mines
Ghost Towns and Mines
Situated near the center of the state on Highway 50, “The Loneliest Road in America”, this lovely little town was once the southern terminus of the narrow gauge Eureka & Palisades Railroad. Many of the original buildings have been restored, including the courthouse built in 1879.
Updated August 2009.
