Our favorite restaurant is Chili’s, and every September they have a fundraiser for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. If you make a donation, they give you an outline of the “Chili’s” logo that you can color any way you like. Then they hang them up all over the restaurant until the end of the month.

I always like to do something fancy with them, and in 2010 I drew portraits of three of our grandchildren. The folks at Chili’s liked them so much, they kept them on display until some time in October or November.

I also did one featuring a scene from our In-ko-pah Railroad. They liked this one so much, they eventually framed it and mounted it near the entrance!
