A house just around the corner from us caught fire today! Cris and I saw it as we were driving home. We noticed a few wisps of smoke coming out from under the eaves, and realized there must be a fire inside. I called 911 as I banged on the front door to see if anyone was home. The smoke was increasing rapidly and turning yellowish-brown.

After the firefighters arrived, they cut holes in the roof that release huge volumes of smoke, followed by large flames.

There were no injuries but the house was severely damaged. it was horrifying to see someone’s home being devastated right before our eyes.
