Ghost Towns and Mines
I shot the first two photos in 1990. There was only one building still standing at that time. This small mining town peaked in the mid-1920’s.
Update: Returned to the site in 2010. The one building standing in 1990 is down. I did find the ruins of numerous mines in the hills around Gilbert.
