The In-ko-pah Railroad

May 2015 I started building a small shack as a test to see how well Sintra PVC foam board could be used to model a wooden structure. I didn’t have a specific place for it on the layout, so I decided it would work for the town of Grandt Cliff.

I created a foundation for it out of real stone and mortar.

The major components of the building are made of Sintra. The battens, trim, and frame of the porch are made from styrene strips. The roof is covered with corrugated metal.

I used Grandt Line castings for the door and window.
