The In-ko-pah Railroad
When I first built the mountains for my railroad, much of the finer details were left unfinished. This work includes filling in gaps between some of the stones, cementing in many of the smaller, non-structural rocks, and adding permanent “talus”.
Some of this detail work has been completed in a few areas since then. In most places I can’t install the plants until the rock and mortar details are done, so in 2011 I made an effort to finish much more of this work, as well as making a few other improvements.
After five years, some repairs were also necessary.
The photos below show some of the miscellaneous repair and improvement projects under construction.
