IMG_5041 February 17, 2010 -- I’ve been turning this pile of dirt into a nice little viewing area. The first three rows of blocks were put in a couple years ago. Recently I built the steps and added the plank retaining wall. In the past few days I added more blocks, which can also be used as seating. I used a scribe to create the mortar lines, then painted it with acrylics. I think it turned out very well, considering how quickly I knocked it out.
