The In-ko-pah Railroad

As of January 2021 it has been fifteen years since I began construction of the In-ko-pah Railroad. The right-of-way has held up well to the constant exposure but it is now time for some repairs and maintenance.

The trestles are the biggest issue. The paint is badly worn in places and the exposed wood is pitted. A few of the braces are coming loose. Some of the larger trestles have developed problems due to the ground settling unevenly. I chose to start with the largest trestle, which is ten feet long and has multiple problems.

I also plan to replace the troublesome switches with a better, more reliable brand.
