Jacumba

 
 
In the 20’s and 30’s Jacumba’s hot springs resort was the “in” place for movie stars and other celebrities. In later years it became a rundown relic. During the late 70’s, the spa burned down and a few years later the historic Jacumba Hotel was also destroyed by fire.


Traveling eastward, the railroad heads into Carrizo Gorge from here.
