The Log Spring area is located a couple miles south of Pigeon Spring. There are a few insignificant mines, a sheet metal building, and two cabins. One cabin is made of bright, white stone; the other is wooden. Both of the cabins were occupied into the 1970s or 1980s. As a result there is some modern junk and trash marring the otherwise historic site.
