Modeler’s Reference
This is a collection of detail photos showing the textures of weathered, rusty or corroded metal surfaces. Some are bare metal, others have worn, flaked, or peeled paint. Note: My reference photos of Steel Drums is another good source for rusty or corroded metal textures.
My hope is that these images will be useful reference material for modelers and artists. For photos of weathered metal buildings and other structures, see my Ghost Towns and Mines page.
