The Hess Ranch is a stunning site with numerous adobe, stone, brick and wooden buildings. The star attraction is a two-story, sixteen-room brick ranch house built in 1910 when the ranch was owned by the Walsh family. The older adobe buildings were built by the Hess family.

In 2017 I made a return visit and found that the ranch is no longer accessible. However, I was able to shoot some great aerial video with my Mavic Pro drone:
