Ghost Towns and Mines
A small railroading and mining town at the edge of Death Valley, Shoshone is now mainly a gas stop for tourists. There is a small museum of mining equipment. Nearby is a place sometimes known as “Dublin City”, where workers once lived in homes carved into the cliffs of a small canyon.
