This mine is situated at the south end of the Inyo Mountains, just off of Saline Valley Road. So far, I haven’t been able to find out any of the history of this mine.

I first came here in 1988. At that time the fallen building seen in the photo above was still intact. There was another small wooden cabin behind it which is now gone. The dugout was also still intact at that time; now it is roofless. The large stone cabin’s roof was also intact then.

I had previously misidentified this site as the “White Swan Mine”. In reality that was a different mine a couple miles or so to the west.
