Foppiano Ranch NV

Foppiano Ranch, NV

The Foppiano Ranch is located in Goshute Valley, NV.

Gordon Fappiano, who grew up on the ranch, passed away in 2013 at the age of 82.

I visited Foppiano Ranch, NV in September 2024.

The ruins of a buckboard wagon are slowly decaying on a flatbed trailer.

A cabin near the ruined wagon.

Rear view of the main buildings at the ranch.

Another view of the ranch buildings.

A Farmall 450 diesel tractor, with some of the ranch buildings in the background.

Here's a rare find -- an old-fashioned ice box. These were us before the availability of mechanical refrigeration. A block of ice would be placed in the upper compartment, and food would be kept in the lower compartment.

Engine blocks and other junk stored in a shed made from railroad ties.

This wall of the shed is collapsing.

The next shed is also made from old railroad ties.

A row of buildings at the ranch.

A couple log cabins at the ranch.

Some kind of derrick.
