Griswold Well, NV
Griswold Well was the was the winter headquarters for the Griswold sheep farm. The log cabin was built in 1898 and served as a cookhouse. The cabin made of railroad ties was built sometime between 1932 and 1934.
In 2010 the log cabin was refurbished, using new logs to replace those that were missing or decayed. The railroad tie cabin was also spruced up at this time and given a new roof.
I visited Griswold Well, NV in July 2024.
