I couldn't find any information on this mine. It's on the eastern slope of the Slumbering Hills, just over the crest from the Jumbo Mine. The USGS topographic maps identify both mines as "Jumbo Mine". Perhaps this was the original shaft on the Jumbo claim, from before they switched to open pit mining. Or maybe it's just one of the many early, small mines in the area whose name has been lost to time.

Other sites I visited in this area are the Alabama Mine, Daveytown, the Jumbo Mine, and the Spanish Girl Mine.
