Maud's Well, NV
The main feature at Maud's Well is a five-stamp mill. When I first visted this site back in the early 1990s, the stamp mill was exposed to the elements, with no building to protect it. I couldn't tell if it was enclosed originally or not. When I finally returned in June 2024 I was surprised to find that someone has built a protective structure over the mill. It's not a real mill building, just a shelter for the stamp mill. Unfortunately this does make it difficult to get good photos of the mill.
A few concrete foundations, bits of debris, and some old car bodies are scattered among the shrubs below the mill.
I visited this site in June 2024.
