McCann Station, NV

McCann Station was a stage stop along the route from Belmont to Tybo and Eureka. The station was primarily used during the 1870s. It was owned and operated by Bernard and Grace McCann, who also had a ranch in the area. Bernard died in 1879. Their son Barney was running the ranch in 1920 when he was murdered during a trip to Belmont. Grace died in 1925 and the ranch was abandoned.

I visited McCann Station, NV in August 2024.
