Old Timer Mine, NV

The Old Timer Mine was a silver and tungsten mine in the Cherry Creek Range. It's located directly below the Teacup Mine. Although it is designated as the Old Timer Mine on USGS topographic maps, I suspect it may actually be an extension of the Teacup Mine. I haven't found any specific information on the mine under the "Old Timer" name, but the structures and size of the mine fit descriptions of the Teacup Mine after it was expanded and modernized in 1918.

Other mines of interest in this area include the Bluebell Mine, the Calcite Mine, the Fillmore Mine, and the Teacup Mine.

I visited the Old Timer Mine in July 2024.
