This is another "mystery mine." I haven't been able to find any information about it other than the name. The Spanish Girl Mine is in the Awakening mining district, a few miles south of the Jumbo Mine. It features a very interesting headframe and ore bin, topped with a corrugated metal structure that may have been used for sorting the ore. The entire structure is leaning forward precariously, which has caused some damage to the headframe.

In the gully below the mine there is a small roofless structure, possibly the remains of an outhouse. Down the hill near the trail are the ruins of a cabin.

Other sites I visited in this area are the Alabama Mine, Daveytown, the Jumbo Mine, and the Jumbo Shaft.
