Ventosa Siding, NV
Ventosa was a stop on the Western Pacific Railroad. It was the shipping point for ore from the mines at Spruce Mountain. It had a school from 1912 until some time in the 1920s. Until the 1940s about ten people lived at Ventosa.
The depot and other buildings were removed in the early 1950s. All that remains now are a few foundations.
I visited Ventosa Siding, NV in September 2024.
